Private Security Level II –  Non-Commissioned Security Officer Training 

Course Description:
This course is designed to meet the training requirements set forth by the Texas Department of Public Safety for Non-Commissioned Security Officers (Level II). Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform private security duties professionally and within the scope of the law.

Students will gain foundational knowledge in:

• Legal limitations and authority of private security officers
• Ethical conduct and professional standards
• Basic patrol techniques and emergency procedures
• Observation and report writing
• Conflict resolution and communication

This is a 6-hour state-mandated course that includes lecture-based instruction, guided discussion, and a written final exam. Students must pass the exam with a minimum score of 75% to receive a certificate of completion.
